An Under the Sea Wedding

Your wedding wouldn’t normally go in your illustration portfolio, but as a couple who met at art school making maquette’s with cardboard and paint we couldn’t help but get carried away with the design aspects for our Wes Anderson meets the ‘Enchantment under the Sea Dance’ from Back to the Future! I created risograph printed wedding stationery, cardboard handprinted props and paper cut coral table decorations! I’ve gone in depth with the making of all the decorations here on my blog. I also wrote about how I hand embroidered my dress here. I’d love to do more 3D / set design work with my illustrations as I enjoyed putting this event together so much despite the wedding stress!
