A colourful trip to Ibiza!

by | Jul 31, 2019

So we chose to go to Ibiza for our honeymoon partly because it’s fairly close and we knew we’d want a simple relaxed break after all the wedding madness, rather than one of our more bonkers road trips. But mainly we chose it as we’d come across Paradiso Art Hotel and we knew we had to stay! It turned out it was the perfect choice as it’s such a visually inspiring place that we were super happy to chill by the pool and wander around the hotel taking photos, it gave us similar feels to when we stayed at The Saguaro in Palm Springs!

One thing we really wanted to get up to while on the island was snorkelling as Nathan had bought some masks and I was super excited to try it and see some fish! We had an excellent day swimming at Playa Cala Xarraca and and another lovely day though the water was slightly less clear at the beach belonging to El Chiringuito Cala Gracioneta which was a pricey but delicious restaurant where we had lunch post swim! I got myself in tizzy trying to find appropriate swimwear for the trip but totally struck gold when I found Batoko whose swimwear is made from recycled plastic and covered in excellent prints!

The Old Town is also super gorgeous and definetly worth getting lost in if it’s not too hot! I had a great time photographing the pretty buildings and finding cute typography! I really recommend Can Terra for a bite to eat and S’Escalinata Eivissa for a drink or two with a view!

We also stopped by Cubanito to get some snaps of those gorgeous Art deco lines and Miami vibes, it’s part of the same group as Paradiso and seemed even more chilled out, tucked away on a hilltop!
